Tempe Scramble Opens with Special Guest

“Eat Local, Give Local” Scramble Tempe Grand Opening Celebration:
Approximately 30 corporate and community volunteers from Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW), Symantec, Scramble and ASU will converge at Scramble - a breakfast and lunch joint's new Tempe location on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 8 - 9 a.m. to stuff Weekend Hunger Backpacks and kick off a weeklong fundraiser for this VSUW program that coincides with the grand opening of this newest Scramble location.
Guests who dine at any of the four Valleywide Scramble locations, from February 7 – 14, will have the opportunity to make a difference for children in the local community by rounding up at the register in celebration of Scramble’s grand opening during the restaurant’s Eat Local, Give Localcampaign.
To kick off the fundraiser on February 7, the first 100 guests who “Round Up at the Register” (at the new Tempe location only)will receive a FREE Scramble Travel Mug, which features $.50 refills of Scramble’s signature drip coffee, Miscela d'Oro Grand Aromaanytime you dine at one of Scramble’s four Valley locations.
This weeklong event will fund Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks program, which provides meals to help those Valley children whom homes are food insecure. The food bags help students get through the weekend and ready to learn on Monday morning.
Additionally, Scramble Co-Owners Clay Moizo & Don Talbot have pledged to match funds raised that week, dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500 in support of the campaign.
